It is a good idea to have 2 pairs of running shoes during the winter so you will always have a dry pair for your run.  If you get your shoes wet, when you get home....take out the insoles of the shoes.  Put crumpled newspaper in the shoe.  Do not place near a heating source.  The newspaper will absorb the moisture faster than just letting them air dry.  Remove paper and return insoles when dry. You're ready to brave another wintery run with dry feet and dry shoes!   - Coach OB
