This is a busy weekend for the A Runner's Mind team! We are taking a break from slatwall hanging, painting, purchasing, floor installation, etc. to saving the world! Well, not really...but 3 of our teammates will be out and about participating in events sponsored by 2 amazing organizations.
Monte left for Miami last night on the red-eye where he will meet up with a group of about 20 people to distribute running shoes in Haiti's impoverished neighborhoods. Check out www.soles4souls.org for more information on this trip.
Jenny and April will be participating in San Francisco's Avon Breast Cancer Walk. Jenny's knee is feeling better after 3 weeks of inactivity and icing....who needs to train for a 2 day, 39 mile walk up and down the hills of San Francisco? They are hoping the crowd and the cause will be the motivation needed to make up for lack of conditioning!
